Our sister, daughter, aunty, niece, cousin, wife, and mother, but most of all our friend.

We have been remembering you over the last week or so with candles, cards, and flowers. The special moments we have all experienced with family and friends, the grief we now share.

Through our lives we take each other for granted. Losing someone so close, none more so than you, Dianne, is a real wake-up call for all of us

We all have our own thoughts and cherished memories of you, and as we are sad we won’t be able to hug you and see your smile, we know we can still have a chat from time to time.

You chose to follow your heart in Krishna consciousness, which was hard for us to comprehend at first, but over time we saw how happy this made you.

We have our own spiritual ideals which embrace a lot of your own.

We now understand that it was your time to leave us. You were restless and needed to be on a higher spiritual plane. If there is a measurement out of 10 for getting God’s attention you get 10. Leaving with His Highness Tamal Krsna Goswami was quite something.

As we come to terms with your leaving, we also know you are happy and your ashes in the Ganges where you had wished.

We saw the photo of your cremation near the Ganges on the internet. This helped us be with you and Kalas even though you were on the other side of the world.

The web site also helped our extended family and friends understand your life and your passing.

Our thoughts are also with Kalas and the love you shared. His being there to watch you leave must have been very difficult for him. Kalas is always welcome at our homes. We also know you had a lot of friends with you which was a comfort for us.

We all enjoyed the dinner with Rugy, Leonard, and Cynthia on Thursday, which I’m sure you had a hand in. The cousins all played together and it was really great to share the evening with each other. We are here for Rugy whenever he wants us and will keep in touch with Lenoard. As we saw on Thursday, Rugy needs his family as we all do.

We are here to celebrate your short life with your friends at Riverhead.

It’s not the number of years that count— it’s what we do with the years we’ve got. And if we knew where to look, it was obvious— your family, your friends, the lives that you had touched, the respect you had earned. Dianne, you now realise you achieved a lot more than you thought.

You have left a gap in our lives but filled the gap in our souls. My heart aches as I write this. We are all going to miss you, none more so than Rugy. We do grieve and it has been hard, but we will all be stronger in time.

We love you Dianne.

Until you meet us on our journey.

Love from all of your Family
