This article, "Misunderstanding Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja" by Puru Das Adhikari [on VNN] is the purest example of sophistic philosophy— playing with words.

Just one example:

The author writes (with Srila Prabhupada’s words) about ISKCON devotees (actually about senior devotees, gurus, etc.) who try to preach Krishna Consciousness according what their spiritual master says and who try to protect their spiritual master teachings:

"These false accusations are supported only by rumors and the boldest of lies. Actually such feeble attempts at slander never cite any evidence from shastra or from Srila Prabhupada's books. We simply see articles like this every year when certain persons become nervous about Srila Narayana Maharaj's upcoming summer tour of the United States."

What is it? This is what author writes about others, but he can read about himself (what Prabhupada writes) from his own article:

"But because they are kanistha-adhikaris or prakrta-bhaktas (materialistic devotees who are not advanced in spiritual knowledge), they are envious instead of happy, and they try to find faults in the Krsna consciousness movement..." —Cc. Adi lila 7.27

So, please, dear author (Puru das adhikari), do not be kanistha-adhikari or prakrta-bhakta and do not be envious instead of happy, and don't try to find faults in others, in this case in ISKCON devotees.

Yes, why not?

Hare Krishna.

With best regards,
Nataraja das
